The music you are listening to is from the CD "Troubadour d'amour" (acoustic moods to enchant and soothe), released in July 2006. Louise Bell plays original compositions and improvisations on folk harp (10 tracks), plus 2 tracks of vocal chants, one with Tibetan bowl, one with drone. Also cameos of clarinet, ankle bells, ting shak (small Tibetan cymbals) and metallophone.
Louise says: "Originally finding my way to the harp as part of a music healing course called Sound Medicine, the value of music as an agent of transformation for players and listeners infuses my approach to performing. The impulse of this collection is subtle shifts within sustained moods. For freedom of personal response their are no lyrics, although both vocal chants and instrumentals are performed with a conscious inner offering of peace and compassion, to nourish and enhance, connecting with, but by no means limited to, the track titles.
